Our accounting firm is called on to work closely with individual clients as they pursue a broad spectrum of business ventures. During the past 20 years, we have successfully managed assignments and projects that range from business acquisitions, to cost accounting programs, to business turn-arounds.

The diversity of situations is dictated only by client needs. We are proud of the track record that we have set. We are gratified that clients have come to us and that our consultation, accounting work, and client responsiveness have resulted in their success.

  • Arranged a job cost accounting system for managing a program for a major, $3 million urban redevelopment project that included the construction of 30 homes.
  • Helping to put the parties together for a $20 million urban redevelopment project in a major Ohio city. Property included both commercial and residential.
  • A client came to us with tan lien issues. We successfully reduced the tax liability and had the liens released.
  • We help our tax clients get current with their tax filings.
  • Over the last 20 plus years, we have developed business relationships with area banks. These relationships proved to be instrumental in obtaining financing for many of our clients.

Professional Bios

When Michael and Brian began the practice upon which they have built into Colagiovanni & Greene, they had a few serious goals: carry their personal values into the business, be strong client advocates, and provide excellent accounting, consulting and financial services.

Michael Colagiovanni

Michael Colagiovanni is a graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a CPA and CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) with 23 years experience in the accounting profession.

Brian Greene

Brian Greene is a graduate of The Ohio State University. He is an Enrolled Agent with 22 years experience in the accounting profession. He holds both a Series 63, and a Series 6 License, and Brian is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Brian's passion for soccer keeps him in the game and around it. He has been the Head Coach of the Beachwood High School soccer team since 1996, and before that the Assistant Head Coach for seven years. He has also coached at Shaker Heights High School. He holds a U.S.S.F. National C Coaching License.

Brian is active in his home community, serving as Treasurer and Board Member of the Geauga Humane Society since 1998.
